Rules of the Road:
One of the many jobs of a police officer is to ensure motor vehicle safety. Speed limits, stop signs, and traffic signals are there to help ensure everyone's safety. When these limitations are ignored, you are risking someone elses safety as well as your own. That is why the police monitor traffic flow and write out traffic citations to offenders. If you do receive a citation, be sure to follow the instructions on the back of the ticket. If the citation is not paid on time you may be subject to late fees as well as a suspended license.
